Overview
EN ISO 21569:2005/A1:2013 (CEN adoption of ISO 21569:2005/Amd 1:2013) is an amendment to the international standard for qualitative nucleic acid–based methods used to detect genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and derived products in foodstuffs. Approved by CEN in 2013, the amendment updates the original method requirements, validation guidance and adds a validated taxon‑specific example (rice SPS gene) based on an international collaborative study.
