Abstract
Overview
EN ISO 22718:2015/A1:2022 is Amendment 1 to the international standard for Cosmetics - Microbiology - Detection of Staphylococcus aureus. Approved by CEN on 10 September 2022 and prepared by ISO/TC 217 in collaboration with CEN/TC 392, this amendment is endorsed without modification and is intended for national adoption by March 2023. The document updates enrichment media options used during microbiological testing of cosmetic products to support detection of Staphylococcus aureus.
