This document specifies a method for determining crease recovery angle of fabric specimen while placing it in such a way that the folded line is vertical to horizontal plane for a specified time after removal of creasing load. This document is applicable for all kinds of textile fabrics.
Abstract
Overview
EN ISO 2313-2:2021 (ISO 2313-2:2021) specifies a standardized method for measuring crease recovery angle of textile fabrics using a vertically folded specimen. The procedure quantifies how well a fabric recovers from a crease by measuring the angle formed between the two limbs of a folded sample after removal of a creasing load. This part of the ISO 2313 series is applicable to all kinds of textile fabrics and is useful for quality control, product development and comparative testing.
