EN ISO 29461-3:2024 - Air intake filter systems for rotary machinery: Test methods - Part 3: Mechanical integrity of filter elements specifies standardized test methods to assess the mechanical integrity of air filter elements under defined abnormal operating conditions. Published by CEN/ISO in 2024, the document targets filters used on rotary machinery with volumetric flows from 0.24 m3/s (850 m3/h) up to 2.36 m3/s (8 500 m3/h). Tests are applied to new elements or elements loaded up to 625 Pa (max 800 Pa) per ISO 29461-1. Filters with efficiency lower than ISO T5 (ePM10) are excluded.
