Abstract
Overview
EN ISO 5395-2:2013/A2:2017 is Amendment 2 to the European adoption of ISO 5395-2:2013. Published and approved by CEN in 2017, this amendment addresses cutting-means enclosure guards for pedestrian-controlled, combustion-engine-powered lawnmowers. It refines guard opening mechanisms, foot-protection test requirements and mandatory technical information in the instruction handbook. The amendment aligns the part 2 standard with related clauses in and relevant EU machinery directives.
