Abstract
Overview
EN ISO 5667-6:2016/A11:2020 is an essential amendment to the European Standard EN ISO 5667-6:2016, providing updated guidance on the sampling of rivers and streams for water quality analysis. Developed by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) under Technical Committee CEN/TC 230 "Water Analysis," this standard specifically addresses methodologies for collecting representative water samples from flowing water bodies such as rivers and streams. The amendment A11 was approved in April 2020 and aims to ensure harmonized, accurate, and reliable sampling processes across member countries.
