Abstract
Overview
EN ISO 6507-4:2018 - part of the ISO 6507 series - provides standardized tables of Vickers hardness values for metallic materials. It is intended for use with the Vickers hardness test method described in ISO 6507-1. The tables were calculated from the Vickers hardness formula (per ISO 6507-1) and present ready-to-use conversions between indentation geometry, test force and reported hardness (HV) for commonly used force ranges.
