EN ISO 8974:2002 - Plastics: Phenolic resins - Determination of residual phenol content by gas chromatography () specifies two gas‑chromatographic methods for measuring in phenolic resins. The standard defines sample preparation, recommended reagents and solvents, chromatographic apparatus and operating ranges, calibration procedures and how to calculate results (response factor, mass ratio and peak area ratio). It is a harmonized CEN/ISO document intended for quality control and testing laboratories.
