EN ISO 9241-1:1997/A1:2001 is an amendment to Part 1 of the ISO 9241 series - Ergonomic requirements for office work with visual display terminals (VDTs) - providing a general introduction with a specific focus on the software ergonomics parts ( to ). Adopted by CEN, this amendment clarifies the structure, relationships and practical use of the software-oriented parts of , and adds an informative Annex A describing the software parts and guidance for selecting and combining dialogue techniques.
