Overview
EN ISO 9333:2022 - Dentistry - Brazing materials specifies requirements and test methods for dental brazing materials used in metallic restorations. This third edition (adopted by CEN as EN ISO 9333:2022) updates and harmonizes previous requirements; brazing materials with silver as the main component are explicitly excluded from the scope. The standard targets material composition, performance (mechanical and corrosion), biocompatibility, labelling, and documentation for dental brazing alloys.
