IEC 60244-1:1999 - Methods of measurement for radio transmitters - Part 1: General characteristics for broadcast transmitters - defines standardized conditions and measurement methods to assess the performance of terrestrial . The standard enables consistent, repeatable type tests, factory tests and acceptance tests so that results from different observers and laboratories are comparable. It is the general part of the series and cross‑references relevant recommendations and Radio Regulations.
