IEC 60317-67:2017 (consolidated with AMD1:2024) defines the specifications for polyvinyl acetal enamelled rectangular aluminium winding wire, class 105. It applies to rectangular aluminium conductors with a sole coating based on polyvinyl acetal or polyvinyl formal resin (modifications allowed if the chemical identity is retained).
