IEC 62194:2005, published by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), defines a standardized method for evaluating the thermal performance of enclosures. This standard applies to empty indoor enclosures conforming to and , as well as outdoor enclosures per . It provides a systematic approach to assess the thermal absorption factors by considering enclosure design principles, internal heat load, and solar radiation impact.
