Overview
IEC 62388:2013 - Maritime navigation and radiocommunication equipment and systems - Shipborne radar: Performance requirements, methods of testing and required test results - is an IEC international standard that specifies minimum operational and performance requirements and defined test methods for shipborne radar. The standard is aligned with IMO Resolution MSC.192(79) and supplements general installation requirements (IMO A.694(17) and IEC 60945) by defining performance standards, test procedures and required test results for radar equipment used in maritime navigation.
