Overview
IEC TR 61592:2003 - “Household electrical appliances – Guidelines for consumer panel testing” is a Technical Report from IEC TC 59 that provides guidance on designing, conducting and reporting consumer (panel) tests for household electrical appliances. The report explains when panel testing is appropriate, how to select and train panel members, and how to collect and present results so they meaningfully complement technical measurements and Standard Methods of Measuring Performance (SMMP).
