Abstract
Overview
ISO 10303-212:2001 is part of the ISO 10303 family (STEP) and defines an application protocol for electrotechnical design and installation. As an AP within the STEP series, it provides a standardized approach to product data representation and exchange for electrical and electrotechnical systems used in buildings, industrial plants and automation projects. The standard uses EXPRESS schema notation (the STEP data modeling language) to specify information structures for exchange and interoperability.
