La présente partie de l'ISO 3672 spécifie les méthodes de préparation des éprouvettes et les méthodes d'essai à appliquer pour déterminer les propriétés des résines de polyesters non saturés. Elle fixe les exigences concernant, d'une part, le traitement du matériau pour l'essai, et d'autre part, le conditionnement des éprouvettes avant les essais. Les propriétés des résines de polyesters non saturés réticulées ont été choisies parmi les méthodes d'essai générales de l'ISO 10350-1. D'autres méthodes d'essai largement utilisées pour caractériser ces résines de polyesters non saturés ou présentant une importance particulière (en particulier celles qui déterminent les propriétés de mise en oeuvre des résines non polymérisées) sont également incluses dans la présente partie de l'ISO 3672.
