ISO 10973:1995 defines guidelines for the preparation and presentation of spare parts manuals for cranes. It sets out general requirements to make spare-parts documentation clear, durable and easy to use by maintenance staff, spare-parts suppliers and crane operators. The standard was prepared by ISO/TC 96 (Cranes), SC 5 (Use, Operation and Maintenance) and includes informative annexes (A–E) with examples and a bibliography.
