Abstract
Overview - ISO 11276:1995 (Soil quality - Tensiometer method)
specifies standardized methods for determining in unsaturated and saturated soils using tensiometers. It covers in situ field measurements as well as laboratory and experimental applications (e.g., soil cores, plant containers, lysimeters). The standard describes equipment, installation, preparation, reading, servicing and reporting practices needed to obtain reliable point measurements of soil pore water pressure (also called tensiometric pressure).
