Abstract
Overview
ISO 11497:1998 specifies requirements and test methods for the binding mounting area of telemark skis, bindings and retention devices. The standard is intended to optimize compatibility of the functional unit “ski - binding - retention device - boot” by defining dimensional, strength and surface requirements and by prescribing test procedures (pull‑out and stripping) to verify performance.
