This document defines the requirements for grades of unalloyed aluminium ingots intended for remelting. It specifies the classification and designation applicable to these grades, the conditions in which they are produced, their properties and the marks by which they are identified.

Overview
ISO 115:2024 - - sets international requirements for grades of unalloyed (refined) aluminium ingots intended for remelting. The standard specifies grade designations and chemical composition limits, production and quality-control responsibilities, inspection and sampling procedures, marking, packaging and delivery documentation. It replaces and expands grade coverage.
