Abstract
Overview
ISO 11630:1997 - Cranes - Measurement of wheel alignment specifies standardized methods for measuring the alignment of crane wheels for four-wheel, rail‑mounted cranes (excluding railway cranes). The standard defines measurement steps, reference geometry and calculation procedures to determine wheel deviations in plan view, elevation profile and vertical position. Procedures are based on optical surveying (theodolite) but permit other methods that provide equivalent measurement accuracy.
