ISO 11953:2010 - "Dentistry - Implants - Clinical performance of hand torque instruments" defines a classification and test framework for manually operated, hand-held torque wrenches used in dental implant procedures. The standard specifies for accuracy, reproducibility and (cleaning, disinfection, sterilization). It describes test rigs and procedures, and sets and manufacturer-instruction requirements. NOTE: ISO 11953:2010 does cover electronically controlled torque devices.
