ISO 13144:2025 specifies a laboratory method for the qualification and quantification of quinoline, isoquinoline and certain quinoline derivatives in textiles. The method uses methanol extraction followed by analysis with gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC‑MS / GC‑MS/MS) or liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC‑MS / LC‑MS/MS).
