ISO 13212:2014 provides guidance on designing stability studies to determine the of contact lens care products. Focused on ophthalmic optics, the standard helps manufacturers gather the chemical, physical, and microbiological data needed to define storage conditions and expiry dates for solutions, suspensions, tablets and other contact lens care formulations. It is a guidance standard (third edition, 2014) and does not cover in-use (post-opening) discard dates.
