Abstract
Overview
ISO 13216-1:1999/Amd 3:2006 is an international standard developed by ISO focusing on the safety measures for child restraint systems (CRS) in road vehicles. This amendment adds specifications for detecting the use of ISOFIX child restraint systems equipped with seat bight anchorages and attachments. The standard aims to enhance child safety during vehicle travel by improving CRS anchoring and enabling reliable detection when ISOFIX systems are in use.
