Overview
ISO 13710:2004 - "Petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries - Reciprocating positive displacement pumps" - specifies requirements for the design, construction, testing and vendor data for reciprocating positive-displacement pumps used in the petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas sectors. It applies to both direct-acting and power-frame pump types and explicitly excludes controlled-volume pumps (see API Std 675) and rotary pumps (see API Std 676). The standard was developed from API Std 674 to provide internationally harmonized requirements.
