Overview - ISO 13996:1999 and puncture resistance testing
ISO 13996:1999 defines a standardized test method to measure the of protective clothing and the materials used to make these garments. The standard sets out specimen requirements, test apparatus, conditioning, test procedure, result calculation and reporting rules to produce repeatable, comparable measurements expressed in newtons.
