ISO 14258:1998 - Industrial automation systems - Concepts and rules for enterprise models defines the high‑level concepts and rules for creating computer‑understandable enterprise models in manufacturing and industrial automation. It establishes a systems‑theory foundation and specifies what an enterprise model should represent (purpose, structure, behavior, hierarchy and life‑cycle aspects) to improve consistency and enable model interoperability.
