This document specifies a method for the determination of the volume and the surface resistivity of vulcanized or thermoplastic rubbers. The method can be applied to materials with a resistivity from 101 Ω⋅m to 1017 Ω⋅m.
Abstract
Overview
ISO 14309:2019 specifies a laboratory method for determining the and/or of vulcanized or thermoplastic rubbers. The procedure covers a very wide resistivity range (approximately ) and uses a arrangement to minimise stray currents and contact errors. The standard defines required apparatus, test piece preparation and conditioning, test conditions, measurement procedure and calculation of resistivity values.
