Overview
ISO 14890:2013 - Conveyor belts - Specification for rubber- or plastics-covered conveyor belts of textile construction for general use - specifies requirements for textile carcass conveyor belts with rubber or plastic covers intended for general surface use on flat or troughed idlers. It defines construction, designation, dimensional tolerances, mechanical properties and test requirements for multi-ply, duo-ply, mono-ply and solid woven belting. ISO 14890:2013 is not applicable to light conveyor belts (see ISO 21183-1). Annexes list purchaser-supplied details and items to be agreed between purchaser and manufacturer.
