Overview
ISO 15465:2004 - Pipework: Stripwound metal hoses and hose assemblies - is an international standard that defines the design, manufacture and testing requirements for stripwound metal hoses. It covers four principal hose types (single-overlap unpacked/packed and double-overlap unpacked/packed), nominal sizes DN 6 to DN 500, and service temperatures up to 600 °C depending on materials. Only the double-overlap packed type (DOP) is specified for pressure applications (maximum allowable pressures of up to 40 bar).
