Abstract
Overview
ISO 15480:2019 is an international standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that specifies the characteristics of fasteners known as hexagon washer head drilling screws with tapping screw threads. These screws are made of steel and cover thread sizes ranging from ST2.9 to ST6.3 with a defined product grade A. This second edition, published in June 2019, updates and replaces the previous 1999 edition to reflect the latest technical requirements and normative references applicable to these specialized drilling screws.
