ISO 15590-1:2024 - "Oil and gas industries including lower carbon energy - Factory bends, fittings and flanges for pipeline transportation systems - Part 1: Induction bends" specifies technical delivery conditions for induction bends used in pipeline transportation systems for petroleum and natural gas industries (as defined in ISO 13623). It applies to bends manufactured by the induction bending process from seamless or welded unalloyed or low-alloy steels (typically C‑Mn and line‑pipe compatible grades per ISO 3183). The standard defines requirements for two product specification levels (PSLs) corresponding to those in ISO 3183, but it does not prescribe PSL selection and does not cover bends made by other manufacturing processes.
