Abstract
Overview
ISO 15614-1:2017/Amd 1:2019 is an important amendment to the international standard that specifies the requirements for the specification and qualification of welding procedures for metallic materials. This part focuses on welding procedure tests for arc and gas welding of steels, as well as arc welding of nickel and nickel alloys. Developed by ISO Technical Committee ISO/TC 44, Subcommittee SC 10, the standard aims to ensure quality management in welding processes and enhance the consistency, safety, and reliability of welded joints.
