Overview
ISO 15822:2007 - Test method of doorset opening performance in diagonal deformation (Seismic aspects) specifies a laboratory test method to evaluate whether a can be opened and unlocked after experiencing in-plane diagonal deformation representative of seismic action. The standard uses a static in-plane load to induce diagonal deformation and measures the forces and torques needed to unlock and open the door throughout a stepped deformation sequence.
