Abstract
Overview
ISO 15877-1:2009/Amd 1:2010 is an international amendment to the ISO 15877-1 standard focusing on plastics piping systems intended for hot and cold water installations. Specifically, it addresses chlorinated poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-C) piping systems, updates general requirements, and introduces enhancements to the classification and testing of PVC-C materials used in these piping systems. Developed in collaboration between ISO and the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), this amendment enhances the applicability and safety of PVC-C piping systems, especially for low-temperature heating applications.
