Abstract
Overview
ISO 15888:2000 (Space data and information transfer systems - Standard formatted data units - Referencing environment) specifies requirements for used with Standard Formatted Data Units (SFDUs) in space data and information transfer systems. Adopted from CCSDS Recommendation CCSDS 622.0‑B‑1 (May 1997), the standard defines how SFDU Replacement Service objects (Label Value Objects with Class ID = R) express references to external data objects so that different agencies and systems can interoperate reliably.
