ISO 16682:2015 - Aerospace series - Terminology for clamping devices defines standard terminology, clamp styles and dimensional references used in aerospace tube and wiring applications. Drafted by ISO/TC 20 (Aircraft and space vehicles) SC 10, the document standardises names and references in UK English to improve clarity in part standards, specifications and engineering correspondence. German equivalents are published under DIN responsibility; only the official ISO languages’ terms are normative.
