ISO 16946:2024 - Non-destructive testing - Ultrasonic testing - Specification for a step wedge standard block - defines the material, dimensions and manufacturing requirements for a used to set ultrasonic instruments. The third edition updates terminology (replacing “calibration block” with “standard block”), adds a CAD file link, and aligns Clause 4 with related ISO blocks.
