Abstract
Overview
ISO 17361:2017/Amd 1:2023 is an important amendment to the international standard focused on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), specifically addressing Lane Departure Warning Systems (LDWS). This standard, developed by ISO technical committee ISO/TC 204, defines the performance requirements and for LDWS to enhance road safety by alerting drivers when their vehicle unintentionally departs from its lane.
