Overview
ISO 17532:2007 - "Stationary equipment for agriculture - Data communications network for livestock farming" specifies a communication protocol for automatic and interactive control of computer systems used in livestock production. The standard supports on‑farm networking and secure communication across the Internet, using IP as the transport layer and TCP/UDP for reliable and short-message delivery. It defines generic, extensible data structures (ADIS/ADED or XML/ADED) and device addressing conventions to enable interoperable livestock production systems.
