Declared properties: Information must be available for yield/tensile strength, elongation, impact/toughness (if required), thermal treatment, through‑thickness properties (ISO 7778) and limits on discontinuities in weld zones where specified.

Welding considerations: Welding-related classification or carbon equivalent (CEV) information must be provided to assess weldability (grouping systems referenced in ISO/TR 20172–20174).

Manufacturing tolerances and surface condition: Plate thickness tolerances and surface conditions follow applicable product standards unless the execution specification states otherwise.
