Overview
ISO 19719:2010 - Machine tools - Work holding chucks - Vocabulary defines and standardizes the terminology used in clamping technology for work holding chucks. Its purpose is to systematize terms and facilitate clear communication among manufacturers, users, inspectors and trainers of machine tools. The standard applies to general commercial machine‑tool accessories (not to special or bespoke accessories) and provides English and French official terms; German equivalents are included for information.
