Overview
ISO 23480:2013 - Tools for pressing - Sliding plates defines standardized dimensions, tolerances and designation rules for sliding plates used in press tools. The second edition (2013) specifies two plate types (Type A: one-face; Type B: two-face), includes illustrative figures and dimension tables, and references general tolerancing, fastener and drawing-edge standards. The standard supports consistent design, procurement and interchangeability of sliding plates in metal forming and stamping tooling.
