Overview
ISO 23575:2022 specifies types, dimensions and strength characteristics of marine securing devices used for ro-ro cargoes (roll-on/roll-off ships). The standard covers fixed and portable (loose) fittings, test methods (type and production testing), material and dimensional tolerances, marking, tightness and installation/maintenance guidance. It also notes applicability to road vehicles secured on inland vessels.
