Overview
ISO 24239:2022 - Corrosion control engineering life cycle in fossil fuel power plants: General requirements provides a structured, life‑cycle approach to controlling corrosion in all types of fossil fuel power plants. The standard defines general requirements for every life‑cycle element - from design, materials selection and manufacturing through commissioning, operation, maintenance, overhaul and final disposal - with the aim of ensuring safe, economical, long‑term and environmentally responsible plant operation.
