Abstract

ISO 24460:2023 specifies how to measure single-phase fluid (pipe systems) using . The standard documents three principal approaches - , , and - and provides guidance on tracer selection, detector arrangement, data acquisition, uncertainty evaluation and radiation dose considerations. For steady single-phase flow the standard enables determination of volumetric flow rate (Q) and, if density is known, mass flow rate.
