Work procedures and engineering controls: Procedures vary by work grade and include isolation with plastic sheeting, use of negative‑pressure dust collectors, HEPA‑equipped vacuum cleaners, glove bags for small sections and wetting agents to suppress dust.

Decontamination and PPE: Establishment of decontamination zones (equipment/change room, shower, clean room), use of specified respirators and protective clothing, and records of training and medical checks for workers.

Waste handling: Waste disposal plans must specify storage, transport and final disposal in accordance with national regulations.
