Overview - ISO 3089:2005 (self-centring, one-piece jaws)
ISO 3089:2005 specifies geometric test conditions and tolerances for self-centring, manually operated chucks with one-piece (hard) jaws used on machine tools (more than two jaws). With reference to ISO 230-1, the standard focuses on inspecting rotational accuracy, straightening and centring of workpieces gripped by these chucks. It does not cover dynamic quantities such as balancing or gripping force.
